A space designed for you to capture every authentic moment.

Whether you’re photographing a family, newborn, boudoir client, or a branding session, this Nashville Photography Studio provides a unique, professional experience with soaring 12-foot ceilings. Equipped with a couch that can be converted to a king-sized bed, backdrop stands, lighting equipment, high quality furniture, a full kitchen, and gorgeous natural light from our floor-to-ceiling windows, your clients will be amazed when they walk in for their session with you.

My hope is that this space helps you create lasting memories for your clients and that they remember how easy it was to work with you, knowing there was a safe, clean, private location ready and waiting for them.

Supplies

The studio is set up with photography supplies, including a seven-foot white backdrop, a five-foot grey backdrop, an eight-foot black v-flat, and a two-sided custom handprinted backdrop by Telicia Lee.

Lighting equipment includes two reflectors with a reflector stand, a Godox SK400, two Godox AD200s, a strip box, beauty dish, and 72” parabolic umbrella with diffuser. With 12-foot ceilings, it’s easy to set up as much or as little equipment as you need!

There’s also a plus-sized friendly hair and makeup chair.

Located in Historic Germantown

In the heart of Germantown’s most beloved block, the 1200 block of 5th Ave N, the studio provides access to a lovely indoor location, yes, and you can also take your clients outside and capture moments on Germantown’s lovely brick sidewalks, various textures, and tree-lined streets. Bicentennial Mall and Morgan Park are both two blocks away, if you want to wrap up with a lovely park, all within walking distance for you and your clients.

Afterward, you can always grab dinner or a drink at incredible locations like Germantown Cafe, Butchertown Hall, Mother’s Ruin, Tempered Chocolate/Green Hour (right below us!) or an oyster and cava happy hour at Henrietta Red.

FAQ

There are a lot of logistics to bringing your clients to a space, especially one you’ve never been to before. Here are some of the questions I get most often. Feel free to reach out with anything else you need to know!

Great question! Our windows face east and west, so there’s a slight amount of direct sun early in the morning (think 8am) from the big window and more intense direct light from the kitchen widow before subset. The rest of the time, you get lovely, bright, indirect light.
We’e located on the second floor of the Summer Street Lofts in Germantown. The studio has its own entrance from ground level. It’s across the street from Germantown Cafe.
If you leave the curtains completely open, yes, but as a boudoir photographer, I’ve tested the privacy time and time again in the past six years, and if the sheer curtains are pulled, no one can see you.
I have an August lock that I’ll use to open the door at your reserved time. I always ask that you text me when you’re on your way out. If I don’t hear from you, the door locks five minutes after you reserved time ends.
Currently, we have a bed, two couches, two side chairs, two dining chairs, one stool, a posing table, and black cloth posing tubs in four sizes. There’s also a box fan to give that windblown look.
Glad you asked! I ordered a custom Telicia Lee Backdrop in 2020 and loved it, but I found pulling out a backdrop stand tested my patience, so I had Telicia come turn my entire wall into a backdrop! It photographs mostly neutral and bright but with more texture for added interest.
