THE BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE IN NASHVILLE
It takes guts to walk in the door of a boudoir studio and say that you want to have your photo taken. People can come in nervous for headshots, and that's only heightened when you don't have the luxury of hiding behind clothes. I totally understand that. I make it a point every few years to get in front the camera myself, so I never forget what those anxious nerves feel like. I'm here to walk through this with you from start to finish so the only nerves you’re feeling when you arrive are more butterflies rather than total anxiety attack.
Whether you’re here for a romantic wedding gift photo shoot or showing that 50 is fabulous, we get to know the why behind your session and create something that’s uniquely you. When you walk into the studio, I’ll already have a plan in place of photos that I want you to have that show your story and your personality and flatter everything about you.
Our goal here is to make you feel beautiful, yes, but rather than making you look provocative, we create images that focus on showing that you’re strong and at peace with yourself. Because that’s where the good stuff is.

Consultation + Planning
I always offer to schedule a phone call with anyone interested in a session. This lets us get to know one another a bit, so you know you're comfortable with me and find me trustworthy for your boudoir photo shoot.
You'll then receive several emails from me to plan your shoot. Your boudoir session will include three wardrobe changes, and I'll work with you to plan looks for our time together if you feel like you could use the help. I have plenty of suggestions I'll share for how to achieve certain looks and make sure you look and feel your very best in your photos.
The Studio
I own my own studio space in Nashville’s Historic Germantown, so you know it's a clean, safe, private, and comfortable environment specifically designed for boudoir photography. That also means there's no scrambling to find a pretty, affordable, and available Airbnb that fits with our schedules. Whenever we want to do a session, there's a beautiful studio here waiting with all the beverages, too — your choice of champagne, mimosas, rose, mocktails, coffee, sodas, and sparkling water always available.
Hair + Makeup
The first hour of your session will be spent with hair and makeup. This is included with every session so we know you'll look amazing, with your look specifically built around being photographed for boudoir. Our makeup artists will help you choose whether you prefer a more natural look or a more glam style and make sure you're 100% happy and confident in your look.
All-Female Staff
Everyone that comes into contact with your images is female. From our hair and makeup artists to our in-house retoucher, everyone who comes into contact with you and your photos is female. There's no need to be worried about someone who shouldn't be accessing your images.
Session Time
Our studio has several sets that we'll utilize during our time together. We have plenty of backdrops that can capture your unique style, so you’ll leave with a variety of images to choose from. My expert posing, some great music, and the casual, fun feel of our session will have those nerves diminished in no time. You may (will) be a little sore the next day, but we guarantee you'll have fun during your shoot.
Product Ordering
Once your session is complete and your images are edited (approximately two weeks), you'll come back to the studio, where you'll be able to view your edited proofs and place your product order. I'll help you decide between photos and guide you through any options you're considering to make sure you're completely happy with your purchase.
At your viewing, we’ll build your album together to make sure you’re pleased with the layout and how your images look together to tell the story of your session, and we’ll compare photos for your wall art. From there, we’ll get everything ordered and bite our fingernails with excitement until it gets here!
