On occasion, I like to host a little event to celebrate you, the incredible women who have let me photograph them over the years and support the mission of showing up for ourselves, allowing women to be seen as beautiful and strong and brave in our own eyes, not anyone else’s.
I hope to make this a regular event, but the first one will be on April 27 & 28 at the Thompson Hotel in The Gulch, Nashville. Sessions will be 45 minutes and you can include a shower or tub set as well as a towel or robe set.
Since you’ve already had the full hair and makeup experience and know that you can trust me to handle your mental image of yourself with care, I envision these as even more more stripped down, simple sessions. I’m thinking light makeup, maybe your hair in a high bun or a French twist, etc.
Sessions will be $500 and include your choice of a two-image folio or four 4x6 fine art prints. You can also purchase your digitals either before or after your session as well as an album, if you’d like.
FAQ
+ Do I have to be naked for the shower or tub sets?
No way! If you aren’t comfortable with nudity, you’re welcome to wear a swimsuit or lingerie.
+ What are you doing about Covid safety?
Victoria and I are both fully vaccinated (and will be at peak immunity by the time these sessions take place), and we’ll disinfect each space and clean the tub/shower between guests. You’ll need to wear a mask in the public hotel spaces to keep with Davidson County mask mandates. You can remove your mask when you’re in the room, and Victoria and Caley will stay masked unless you have also been vaccinated.
+ Is hair and makeup included?
We’re really excited for the natural look of these photos. In all the sample photos, we either have on no or minimal makeup. So, we aren’t offering hair and makeup for these. If you’re down for that, great! If you'd feel better with full makeup and hair, let us know, and we can see about arranging for you to have makeup done at the studio before you head over. Otherwise, we recommend minimal makeup with (waterproof!!) mascara/brows and maybe hair in a bun or French twist.
+ What does the session include?
The $500 price helps cover the hotel room and our time and includes a two-image folio or four 4x6 fine art prints. You can choose to pre-purchase your digital files ahead of time and receive a discount, or choose to purchase them all after you’ve seen them.
+ How will I choose my images?
We’ll do a quick ordering appointment over Google Hangouts in May. You’ll choose which prints you want and any upgrades you’d like.
+ Will you offer payment plans?
Siiiiigh, I unfortunately had to suspend in-house payment plans. In 2020, I had more people default on payment plans than complete them, which means we aren’t getting paid for our hard work. I hate this for several reasons, but largely because those of you reading this, my past clients, were not the problem here. So, sessions now must be paid in full or paid for with PayPal Credit (six months interest-free payments if you qualify). You can check for PayPal Credit qualification at PayPalCredit.com. If you need payment and don’t qualify for PayPal Credit, reach out, and we’ll see what we can come up with.

Pricing
The session itself is $500 and includes your choice of a two-image folio or four 4x6 fine art prints. You can choose between a tub and shower set and also take some photos around the room. You can pre-purchase all your digitals for a discounted rate of $999. At your image reveal, all the digital files will be $1299. If you think you’d be interested in adding on an album, reach out and we’ll determine pricing! (I wasn’t sure if albums are something you'd want for these, but I’m happy to adjust with what you want!)
Timing
Sessions will take place at the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch on April 27-28, and I plan on booking eight sessions. I’ll need to book five sessions to justify the cost of the space, and if those book quickly, I’ll reserve more time! If I don’t get five session, I’ll refund your session fee.
